Negin Hajizadeh
Dr. Hajizadeh is a physician scientist which means she is both a doctor and scientist looking to integrate evidence based treatments, but also looking to prove treatments work that do not currently have evidence to support their use. She is trained in mindfulness based stress reduction, somatic breathwork, pulmonary medicine, functional medicine and is currently also training in biomagnetism. She was trained at leading universities including Dartmouth School of Medicine, Brown School of Medicine, Yale University School of Medicine and is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine and the American Association of Environmental Medicine. Dr. Hajizadeh believes that improving health involves seeing and untangling the effects of life experiences on the body. This includes the cumulative effects of environmental toxins as well as the effects of traumas both ‘little t’ and ‘big T’ traumas. She works with mental health experts to find practical methods that can be used by all people to explore these effects both on the body and mind using techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Somatic Breathwork, and Art Therapy.
